Independent Paralegal Services (IPS)

Independent Paralegal Services (IPS) is a "fictious" name used by the owner of this mobile service. The name "IPS" is used to be easily remembered by the law offices they provide services too. IPS is not registered and is commonly used by other independent paralegals. No checks or money orders should ever be written out to Independent Paralegal Services (IPS).

We are considered a "mobile unit" whereas we travel to your designated area for your convenience. In rare circumstances when you come to us, we'd use a law office of an attorney we contract/work with.

IPS is compromised of various independent contractors consisting of Notaries Public, Process Server's and Paralegal's. Each professional contractor is (1) educated and/or (2) trained personally by the owner.

IPS specializes in civil matters ranging from litigation assistance to out of court negotiation. However, IPS does take on all different types of cases including, but not limited too: no-fault divorces, family mediation, DSS/DTA advocacy, minor traffic offense cases, small claims assistance (rule 7(e) of the Massachusetts Uniform Small Claims Rules), workers compensation, social security disability etc.

As process servers, IPS has served for attorneys through out the Commonwealth and is currently serving for most of their local Attorneys. Why pay a Sheriff when they can get the job done quicker and cheaper?

The Notaries Public are legally commissioned by the Governor and his Counsel. The Public Officers are trained and fully competent enough to be state appointed practicing Notaries. The Public Officers use their Notarial authority to the fullest extent of the law and engage in activities that the average officer would not (ex: depositions, subpoena services, etc.).

Before you use the services of IPS you must remember that paralegals are not attorneys licensed to practice law. Therefore they cannot give or accept fees for legal advice. If you need legal advice, please consult an attorney. If you need help finding an attorney, then we can assist you.

If you're looking for quality legal services, minus the practice of law, then you have chosen the right business!

Please visit the credentials page for more information about the primary service providers.
